Scope: Installation of PANELMAX® 80 (PM80) dock doors for insulation and efficiency

Max Door Solutions prioritises strength, durability and simple operation in its product designs. For our latest project at Royal Torino, we installed PM80 doors on the internal side of eight docks, improving insulation between the cold room and the external surroundings of the building.

Our expert installation team managed both the mechanical and electrical setup of the doors and integrated a UPS system to ensure continued operation in case of power outages.

The system also allows interlocking between the dock controller and our PANELMAX® Doors, enhancing both safety and efficiency.

Challenges & Solutions

Maintaining Optimal Insulation Efficiency: PM80 doors were installed with precision to minimise air leakage and ensure temperature control within the cold storage area.

Ensuring Continuous Operation During Power Outages: A UPS system was implemented to allow the doors to function seamlessly even during power failures, preventing operational downtime.

Integration with Existing Roller Shutters and PANELMAX® Doors: The doors were interlocked with Roller Shutters and PANELMAX® Doors, creating a synchronized system for enhanced security and functionality.

Mechanical and Electrical Installation Complexity: Our installation team carefully executed both mechanical and electrical setups, ensuring proper alignment and optimal performance.
